A Milestone Achieved: Over $100 Million in Grants and Equity Raised Since 2009
Beverly, MA — June 4, 2015 — North Shore InnoVentures (NSIV) continues to live up to its reputation as one of New England’s leading technology incubators and business accelerators. The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) has awarded three NSIV startup companies, Akita Innovation LLC, InsomniSolv, Inc. , and MCC Global Laboratories, Inc. each with the Milestone Achievement Program (MAP) grant.
This newly established grant program awards 12 early-stage companies with grants between $50,000-$200,000; NSIV startups received 25% of these awards. With these grants, NSIV has raised over a $100 million in grant and equity funding since opening in 2009.
