InnoVenture Labs is concerned with your business idea from technology to commercialization. You are part of the business incubator whether you are working in the lab, just taking office space, or working virtually. We help you commercialize faster by focusing some of your time on market validation, business planning, operations, team development, fund raising as well as technology development.
InnoVenture’s Facilities
Science is expensive! InnoVenture Labs provides a complete lab environment, including space, the permits, safety, operations and over $2M worth of common and specialized lab equipment. Office space, conference rooms, and kitchens are also included. In addition, you would have access to equipment at 4 local colleges (supported in part by a MLSC grant), a college library, supply discount programs, and other sponsored services, including legal and accounting. In addition, InnoVenture Labs hosts programs of particular interest to science-based entrepreneurs.

NSIV can currently accommodate approximately 15 companies in-house, and another 10 in our virtual program.

InnoVenture’s provides all reasonably common lab equipment for research, including:
- Autoclave, bottle wash, and ice machines
- Deionized water and gas supply
- Chemical hoods and BSL-2 cell-culture facilities
- Centrifuges, vortex, shakers, lyophilizer, freezers, storage facilities
- Flow cytometry, PCR, plate readers, imaging station, luminometry, HPLC, microscopes
- Specialized equipment includes: Bruker MALDI TOF/TOF Mass Spec, Guava Flow Cytometer, Illumina Miseq, Covaris Ultra-sonicater, etc.
Lab Services
- Maintenance of basic permits for lab operations
- Mandatory EHS training and compliance for all lab users
- Maintenance of equipment and technical support
- Active Safety and Equipment Committees
- Cleaning and waste removal
Cost
Priced to keep you cost-competitive and capital efficient. Based upon your needs for space and support. And we don’t take equity.
Monthly pricing ranges from a simple $750 for access to support services to around $3,000 for a basic lab setup for up to 2 people. Larger spaces and access to specialized equipment add additional fees.
Office or cubicle space is included for all lab users. Offices may be rented without lab access.
