In this seminar, SolidWorks expert Jay Pinheiro will demonstrate how you can harness the power of SolidWorks 3D CAD to:

• Design the product

• Analyze the product (FEA testing) to see if it will break/melt/fatigue/overheat/flow

• Manage the documentation (medical device certification process, revision control)Automatic code generation

• Create collateral (manuals/assembly instructions/manufacturing instructions/service enhancements)

About the speaker:

Jay Pinheiro is a Senior Sales Engineer for Fisher/Unitech. Jay has been working wth SolidWorks suite of products for more than 12 years, with experience spanning CAD, Simulation (FEA), Product Data Management (PDM), and Composer. He has worked as a trainer, tech support engineer, and a sales engineer. Prior to joining Fisher/Unitech, Jay worked for Atlantek as a Design Engineer, designing thermal printers, both direct thermal and thermal transfer. He received his BS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
